Advanced Medical Bioimaging Core Facility of the Charite Universitätsmedizin - AMBIO

Last updated: 14 September 2017

This Entity is a Canonical Facility: Usage Guidelines
Number of facility users per year: 100

The Advanced Medical Bioimaging Core Facility (AMBIO) has recently been established at Charité Universitätsmedizin. The core imaging facility aims to provide the infrastructure necessary for researchers with diverse backgrounds to efficiently perform cutting-edge biomedical imaging, allowing efficient usage of resources and a competitive research output. Currently, the AMBIO infrastructure comprises of state-of-the-art imaging systems and a team of experts that support the users during their specific bioimaging project. The systems are highly complementary to cover many imaging modes (wide-field, confocal, spinning disk confocal, multi-photon confocal, super-resolution), are equipped for live-cell experiments, and can perform automated multiplexed imaging experiments. As such, the AMBIO imaging systems enable users to image a large variety of samples over scales ranging from the nanoscale to the mesoscale.
